Bower, Lionetti Each Named NE10 Defensive Player of the Week
North Attleboro, Mass. - Following another undefeated week for the Adelphi University men's and women's lacrosse programs, a pair of defenders have earned the title of Northeast 10 Defensive Player of the Week, announced on Monday. Sonny Lionetti was an anchor on defense for Adelphi as the team went 2-0, and helped hold opponents to a combined nine goals. Against Molloy, she was responsible for three draw control wins and also caused a pair of turnovers.
