SPARTANBURG, S.C .— The Southern Conference office announced this afternoon its selections for SoCon Pitcher and Player of the Week for games played from April 7 to April 12. Wofford junior right-handed pitcher Alec Bouchard was selected as the pitcher of the week. The selections are made by the league office. "I'm really proud of the consistency Alec has brought this year," head coach J.J. Edwards said. He's been nothing but great week in and week out.
