Boddie Third, Rodriguez Fifth After Opening Round
BIRMINGHAM, Ala. | Samuel Boddie carded a 2-under par 70 and Vicente Rodriguez shot a 1-under par 71 to pace the Alabama A&M University men’s golf team during Monday’s opening round of the 2026 Southwestern Athletic Conference (SWAC) Men’s Golf Championship at the Robert Trent Jones Golf Trail at Oxmoor Valley. Boddie is just one shot back of leaders Jonathan Baumann (Arkansas-Pine Bluff) and Phalatphon Viboonviriyasakul (Florida A&M) after the first round.
