Agwu, Pineda Named Braves Of The Week
PEMBROKE 鈥� Athletics department officials from The University of North Carolina at Pembroke announced on Monday morning that women's track & field's Comfort Agwu and men's track & field's Eli Pineda have been named the Scotland Health Care System Braves of the Week for the week ending on April 12, 2026. A native of Raleigh, Agwu broke a 14-year-old school record on Saturday at the Trojan Relays in the discus throw. The junior posted a personal-best mark of 43.64 to finish second in the event.
