Women’s Track and Field Posts Strong Showing at Pomona-Pitzer Invite
CLAREMONT, Calif. — Competing at home among 1400 athletes, Pomona-Pitzer’s women’s track and field team recorded numerous personal bests at the 2026 Pomona-Pitzer Track & Field Invite on Strehle Track. First-year Siobhan Ong equaled the program record in the pole vault by clearing 10-11.75 (3.35 meters) to place sixth. Teammate Sol Gomez cleared 9-6.25 to record the equal #7 all-time mark in program history. Rhiannon Root clocked 59.48 in the 400 meters to dip under the one-minute barrier.
