Women’s Tennis: Scots Defeat Concordia, 5-2
FARGO, N.D. – The Macalester College women’s tennis team beat Concordia College this Sunday afternoon, in a MIAC contest at Courts Plus in Fargo, N.D. Macalester is now 7-6 overall and 2-3 in conference. Macalester secured the doubles point with wins in No. 1 and No. 2 doubles. At No. 1 doubles seniors Savannah Haugen (Bemidji, Minn./Bemidji) and Elizabeth Trevathan (St. Paul, Minn./St. Paul Academy) won 6-4. First years Darrian Streater (Redmond, Ore./Redmond Proficiency Academy) and Isabella Tamburrino (Memphis, Tenn./St. Mary’s Episcopal School) won their match at No. 2 doubles by the same score of 6-4.
