Women鈥檚 Tennis Falls At Penn, 4-1
PHILADELPHIA, Pa. -- The Cornell women's tennis team dropped a 4-1 decision to Penn on Sunday at the Hamlin/Hecht Tennis Centers. The Big Red fell to 7-11 (0-5 Ivy League), while the Quakers improved to 11-10 (2-3 Ivy) with the win. Cornell opened the match by claiming the doubles point with victories at Nos. 1 and 3. Michelle Ryndin and Sage Loudon earned a 6-4 victory at the top spot, while Martina Marica and Dylan Gelber secured a 6-3 triumph at No. 3 to give the Big Red the early 1-0 lead.
