Women鈥檚 tennis edges UW-Eau Claire, 4-3
Wheaton, Ill. – The Wheaton women’s tennis team hosted UW-Eau Claire in a non-conference match on Saturday at the Wheaton Tennis Courts. Wheaton won two of the three doubles matches this afternoon and that played a key role in today’s 4-3 victory for the Thunder. Wheaton’s No. 1 doubles team of Madeline Gentry and Tatum Thurstone won a 5-4 decision against the Blugolds’ team of Reese Burton and Beatriz Felchak. Janet Kondo and Ella Malone picked up a critical 7-5 win at No. 2 doubles against Delaney Hansen and Morgan Briggman. Each team picked up three victories in singles play…
