Women鈥檚 Golf: Macalester Rallies to Tie for Fourth at Kathy Niepagan Spring Fling
NORMAL, Ill. 鈥� The Macalester College women’s golf team moved up from eighth after the first round to a tie for fourth at the Kathy Niepagan Spring Fling, hosted by Illinois Wesleyan at Ironwood Golf Course. The Scots posted scores of 313 312 – 623 to tie with Grinnell for fourth place out of 21 teams. Senior Bailey Lengfelder (Renton, Wash./Hazen) was a big part of the comeback, shooting a -2 70 for the lowest score of the second round. She tied for 10th individually with a two-round score of 153.
