UCCS took an early lead on a Josie Leonard goal before Ella Mills converted a man-up goal to push it to 2-0. Lilliana Montano answered for Westminster to cut it to 2-1, but Mills added another man-up goal just before the quarter ended to send Westminster trailing 3-1 after one.
