Tigers take series thanks to big innings
SEWANEE, Tenn. – Zach Fortman posted three hits with six RBIs, including a grand slam, and Sewanee scored seven runs in the fourth and six in the fifth, defeating Millsaps College, 16-5, in seven innings in baseball action here Sunday at Montgomery Field. The Tigers (16-13-1, 6-6 SAA) clinched the series with the win, recording 13 hits and taking advantage of 12 walks and one hit batter by six Majors pitchers.
