NEW LONDON, Conn.– The Trinity College men’s and women’s track and field teams delivered a series of strong performances across a busy weekend of competition. The first day of the Silfen Invitational consisted of day one of the decathlon, multiple field events, and multiple top seeded distance events. Bantams saw multiple PR’s across various events, including a 17:08 5k school record for junior Paige Jaenicke! Jaenicke broke Trinity’s oldest school record for the women’s track & field team, a 17:17 outdoor 5k set by Elizabeth Amrien dating back to 1983.
