Spartans Drop Series Finale to UChicago, 9-4
The Case Western Reserve University baseball team suffered a 9-4 loss to the University of Chicago to conclude a four-game series at Nobby’s Ballpark on Sunday afternoon in Cleveland. The Spartans dropped the final three games in the series, falling to 15-15 overall with a 4-8 University Athletic Association record, while the Maroons improved to 14-13 with a 7-5 conference ledger. Stats & Standouts CWRU and UChicago each collected 12 hits during Sunday’s game.
