Southwestern Drops Pair to Tabor in Conference Play
WINFIELD, Kan. — Southwestern dropped both ends of a Kansas Collegiate Athletic Conference doubleheader to Tabor on Saturday at home, falling 11-2 and 9-1, with both games ending after five innings. In the opener, Southwestern recorded eight hits but was unable to keep pace with a high-powered Tabor offense that scored in four of five innings. The Bluejays broke the game open with a five-run third inning and added insurance runs in the fourth and fifth to secure the run-rule victory.
