Softball Splits with Lawrence on Sunday
The Monmouth College softball team split a road Midwest Conference double header at Lawrence on Sunday. The Fighting Scots (11-19, 6-5) won game one 12-3 before falling 5-2 in game two. GAME ONE The start of the DH was delayed by lightning and rain. Monmouth went to work right away in the top of the first as Ella Cunningham (Dunlap, Illinois) singled with one out.
