Softball Shuts Out Saints in Sunday Sweep
Behind a trio of home runs and eight shutout innings from Molly Broccolo in the circle, the University of Rochester softball shut out St. Lawrence University over 12 innings at Southside Field, taking game one of the doubleheader, 6-0, before run-ruling the Saints in game two, 8-0. With the doubleheader sweep, the ‘Jackets remain unbeaten in Liberty League play, moving to 17-5 (6-0 LL) with their 11th-straight win, while the Saints fall to 9-9 (4-2 LL).
