Softball Secures Senior Day Sweep
LYNCHBURG, Va. — The University of Lynchburg softball team swept its ODAC doubleheader against Bridgewater Sunday afternoon at Moon Field, walking off game one in extra innings before erupting late to take game two. Game 1: Lynchburg 5, Bridgewater 4 (8 innings) Lynchburg opened the day with early momentum, plating three runs in the first inning behind an RBI walk from Sarah Watts and a sacrifice fly from Hailey Schildt.
