Softball: Golden Wolves Sweep Diplomats in Sunday Double
Reading, Pa. (April 12, 2026) – Alvernia University’s (12-16) bats came alive on Sunday as the Golden Wolves picked up two wins over Franklin and Marshall (12-16) in non-conference softball action at Alvernia. The Golden Wolves shutout F&M in game one, 7-0, and took game two, 4-2, to complete the sweep. Alvernia combined for 27 hits across both games. Junior Taylor McClain recorded a total of three hits on the day to eclipse 100 on her career.
