Softball Drops Pair of Games to Bowie State
RICHMOND, Va. 鈥� The Virginia Union University softball team dropped a CIAA Northern Division doubleheader to the Bowie State University Bulldogs, falling 9-0 and 7-3 on Saturday, April 11, at the VUU Softball Field. Game One: Bowie State 9, Virginia Union 0 Bowie State jumped out to an early advantage and maintained control throughout the opening game to secure a 9-0 victory. The Bulldogs scored multiple runs in the early innings to build momentum and continued to capitalize on opportunities at the plate.
