Smith, Kornilova, Will No. 3 Cardinals to 5-2 victory over No. 10 Bowdoin
BRUNSWICK, ME. – Victorious in a must-watch Top 10 matchup, No. 3 Wesleyan women’s tennis team broke a 5-2 win over No. 10 Bowdoin College on Sunday morning led in part by freshmen duo Kendall Smith and Mariia Kornilova . This go around it was not the Cardinals that clinched a point on the doubles front as both the No. 1 and No. 2 matches went to the Polar Bears. Smith and Kornilova, the No. 2 duo, were victorious at No. 3, defeating Caroline Stuhlfaut and Naomi Williams, 6-2. The pair remain undefeated at 8-0 over the last 10 matches.…
