Skidmore falls to No. 34 Wellesley, 6-1
WELLESLEY, MA – The Skidmore College women’s tennis team concluded the weekend with a 6-1 loss at No. 34 Wellesley on Sunday. In a closer match than the final score indicated, the Thoroughbreds (4-11) earned a win at third singles and nearly secured the doubles point after taking first doubles, while also narrowly dropping a pair of third-set tiebreaks at first and second singles. Wellesley (9-4) ultimately pulled away due in part to Skidmore’s limited lineup availability throughout the weekend.
