Simon Leads Cardinals with Top 5 Steeplechase finish at Silfen Invitational
NEW LONDON, CT. 鈥� The Wesleyan women’s track and field team played double duty over the weekend, competing at the Conn. College Silfen Invitational and the UMass Commonwealth Invite with several Top 5 finishes as the team was led by Alexandra Simon ’27 in the steeplechase. RESULTS Silfen Invitational UMass Commonwealth Invitational HIGHLIGHTS Running the 3000m steeplechase at the Silfen Invitational, Simon crossed the finish line in fourth place, clocking in with a final time of 11:25.76.
