Scarlet Raiders Come Up Short in Twinbill at Rowan
GLASSBORO, N.J. 鈥� The Rutgers-Newark Scarlet Raiders dropped both ends of a doubleheader to No. 11 Rowan University in NJAC action on Saturday. In game one, Rowan used a big early inning to take control and never looked back in a 10-6 victory. The Profs plated five runs in the second inning and added another in the third to build an early cushion. Rutgers-Newark showed fight late, scoring twice in the sixth before adding four runs in the ninth, but the rally came up short.
