Sailing Picks Up Fifth at Oberg Trophy
NEW LONDON, Conn. – The Connecticut College sailing teams returned to action racing at the Thompson Trophy hosted by Coast Guard and the Oberg Trophy hosted by Northeastern. At Northeastern, Conn finished fifth out of 18 teams, scoring 314 points across three racing divisions, six points ahead of Boston University in sixth. In the A division boat, the Camels finished tied for fourth with Florida State on 94 points, but held the head-to-head tiebreaker, with Rory Murray (Nantucket, Mass.) and Charlotte McDonald (Portland, Maine) racing in the boat.
