Russell slams three home runs, WNCC splits with Otero
Jude Russell had a career night for the Western Nebraska Community College baseball team on Saturday in game two against Otero College. The freshman had three home runs and drove in eight RBIs, including a walk-off 3-run home run to lift the Cougars to a 15-5 win over Otero in an Empire Conference contest. The first game saw the Cougars’ offense sputter as Otero collected the 5-2 win.
