Pioneer women put up great fight against nation鈥檚 2nd-ranked team
ST. LOUIS, Mo. 鈥� Grinnell College’s women’s tennis team faced a big mountain to climb Sunday, playing at second-ranked Washington University in non-conference action. The Bears came away with a 7-0 victory, but several Pioneers put up great fights. In doubles, Paige Sargent ’27 and Isa Voinescu ’26 got three games from the seventh-ranked duo in the nation at the top spot as did Eliana Martin ’29 and Tan Mukherjee ’26 against the No. 11 duo at No. 2.
