Personal Records and Top Finishes Pace Oneonta Women at Bucknell
LEWISBURG, PA – The Oneonta women’s track & field team sent part of the team to the Bucknell Outdoor Classic on Saturday, with the Red Dragons represented in six events. The unscored meet features athletes from Division I, II, and III institutions. Junior Olivia Komacek (Whitesboro, NY/Whitesboro) paced the Red Dragons in the 1,500-meter with a huge personal record of 4:52.77 to place 49th overall. She placed fourth overall in her heat as the top Division III finisher. Freshman Alex Friedel (Irondequoit, NY/Irondequoit) posted a personal record of 2:22.24 in the 800 and was fifth in her heat.
