Panthers Fall to Continentals in Series Finale
The Middlebury baseball team endured a 6-2 setback against Hamilton in Sunday’s NESCAC West series finale. HIGHLIGHTS The Continentals pushed the initial run across in the home half of the first inning. Gianni DiCerbo earned a leadoff walk before moving up a bag on a single from Lucas Herman. DiCerbo gained a base on a flyout before scoring on a throwing error, nudging the hosts ahead 1-0. In the bottom half, the Panthers matched the early score.
