Northeastern Takes Down Maine with Dominant 13-5 Victory
BROOKLINE, Mass. — Bouncing back from Saturday’s afternoon shutout against Maine (9-23), the Northeastern Huskies (20-15) closed out the weekend with a 13-5 victory over the Maine Black Bears on Sunday afternoon at Friedman Diamond, going 3-1 on the weekend against the Black Bears and Merrimack. Harrison Feinberg hit three home runs — the first time a Husky has accomplished that feat since May 7, 2024 — and Matthew Sapienza earned the win in relief to improve to 1-3 on the season.
