ST. CHARLES, Mo. – Lindenwood avoided an SIUE softball sweep Sunday with a 3-0 final at the Lou Brock Sports Complex. SIUE, which secured the series win Saturday with a doubleheader sweep, dropped to 17-24 overall and 10-8 in the Ohio Valley Conference after Sunday's play. Lindenwood evened its overall and OVC record to 20-20 and 9-9 in the league. The Cougars were held to four hits by Betsy Woodward, Gretchen Trello, Abby Harvell and Aidyn Barrera.
