Lacrosse falls to No. 25 Rockhurst Sunday
ST. JOSEPH, Mo. - Griffon Lacrosse (6-5, 2-1 GLVC) lost to No. 25 Rockhurst, 21-11, on Sunday afternoon at Spratt Stadium in St. Joseph. The Hawks (10-1, 3-0 GLVC) held MoWest off the board in the first quarter and had an 11-5 lead by halftime. The Griffons couldn't ever close in the second half, as Rockhurst went on a 5-1 run to start the third quarter. Rockhurst achieved running clock late in the third quarter, and had running clock for the last 12:10 of the game. Rockhurst outshot MWSU 38-22, including 25-14 in shots on goal.
