CARY, N.C. --The Delaware State Hornets broke through after a 0-0 tie in the fifth inning to defeat the North Carolina Central Eagles 3-1 Sunday. Junior Kristen White (5-7) got the win for Delaware State (18-16). The right-hander went seven innings, giving up one run on seven hits, allowing one walk, and striking out six.
