Hofstra Falls In Extra Innings To Stony Brook
Hempstead, NY – Nicholas Dromboski’s infield single in the top of the 10th inning broke a 11-11 tie and the Seawolves escaped a bases-loaded, no-out jam in the bottom of the inning to take a 12-11 victory over Hofstra Sunday at University Field. Hofstra had forced extra innings in the bottom of the ninth by scoring twice. Hofstra dropped to 11-18 overall and 6-9 in the CAA with the loss.
