Hawks Snap Seven-Game Losing Skid with Win Over William Jewell
QUINCY, Ill. 鈥� The Quincy University women’s lacrosse team snapped its seven-game losing skid on Sunday afternoon with a 14-7 victory over the Cardinals at QU Stadium. Quincy pulled away in the second half after leading by just two at halftime, outscoring William Jewell 8-3 over the final 30 minutes. The Hawks struck first just 1:31 into the game when Elise Bruggeman scored off an assist from Amelia Ham .
