GRAMBLING, La. | Grambling State erased an early six-run deficit and rallied for the lead late, but Southern answered in the ninth inning and pulled away in the 10th to hand the Tigers a 13-11 loss on Sunday afternoon at Wilbert Ellis Field at R.W.E. Jones Park. The Tigers dropped to 11-23 overall and 8-7 in the SWAC, while Southern improved to 14-20 and 8-7 in conference.
