Golfers Finish Among Top 15 at Spring Fling
Normal, Ill. — The UW-Whitewater women’s golf team wrapped up competition in the Kathy Niepagen Spring Fling hosted by Illinois Wesleyan Sunday. The top Warhawk squad finished 13th while a second fivesome secured 15th in the 21-team field. Payton Schmidt (Jefferson, Wis./Jefferson) paced UWW Sunday carding a 79 for a two-day total of 160. Abbie Reiser (Washington, Ill./Washington Community) was one stroke back from her teammate to finish among the top 35 individually.
