DYCK LEADS SPARTANS RECORD-SETTING DAY

LANGLEY, B.C. – Trinity Western’s Charlotte Dyck broke a 12-year-old mark in the 100m with a time of 12.12 on a day when the Spartans broke 11 school records Saturday at McLeod Athletic Park. Dyck took the 100m record from Liza Whitehead, who ran 12.32 May 1, 2014. On the men’s side, Yemane Mulugeta broke an 11-year-old Spartans record in the 1500m and made the “A” qualifying standard for the NAIA Outdoor Track and Field Championships and Rui Ramsay set TWU’s 100m record to help lead the Spartans during the Battle of Sparta on a day when 11 school records…
