Coyotes Build Early Lead but Fall to NDSU
VERMILLION, S.D. 鈥� South Dakota jumped out to an early advantage, but a late surge by North Dakota State resulted in a 10-5 setback for the Coyotes in Summit League softball action Sunday at Nygaard Field. USD (10-28-1, 2-7 Summit) wasted no time getting on the board in the bottom of the first inning. Ella McGee reached base and Brooke Carey followed with a hit to set the stage for Sara Iburg, who delivered a two-RBI triple to right field, giving the Coyotes a 2-0 lead.
