Christopher Newport Takes on 11th-Ranked Emory on the Road Sunday Dropping a 7-0 Decision
ATLANTA, Ga. — Wrapping up a three-match weekend against nationally-ranked competition, the Christopher Newport women’s tennis team suffered a 7-0 setback at No. 11 Emory University (11-5) on Sunday afternoon. The Captains dropped to 6-11 overall this season following the loss. In doubles play, the Captains scored multiple game victories on all three lines, but were unable to pull out a win.
