TAMPA — Bethune-Cookman turned in a strong all-around performance highlighted by two event victories and multiple podium finishes at the South Florida Invitational. Michael Carter and Andrew Kiplagat led the way for the Wildcats, each claiming first-place finishes in their respective events. Carter won the men’s long jump with a mark of 7.44 meters, while Amarrion Grant followed closely behind in second at 7.28 meters to give B-CU a 1-2 finish in the event.
