Blues Hang On For Series Sweep of Willamette
WALLA WALLA, Wash. – The Whitman College baseball team erupted for seven runs in the first two innings and then held off a late Willamette rally to secure its first series sweep of the season, an 11-10 Northwest Conference victory Sunday afternoon at Borleske Stadium. Luke Malzewski and Halen Otte powered a 14-hit attack for the Blues, who improved to 10-19-1 overall and 5-10 in NWC play.
