Blues edge Bucs in women鈥檚 golf dual
KENNEWICK, Wash. 鈥� The Whitworth women’s golf team prepped for the upcoming Northwest Conference tournament with a dual match against Whitman College on Saturday at Columbia Point Golf Course and the Blues defeated the Pirates 303-312. Samantha Torres shot a 71 to lead the way for Whitman. Erin Pierce led Whitworth with a career-best score of 75.Stella Fergin shot 76 and Ashley Maki posted a 78.Caroline Rose and Rosalind Nordberg each rounded out the top-five for the Bucs with a pair of 83’s.
