Blue Tigers Fall to #7 Indianapolis
INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. - The Lincoln softball team played Indianapolis, the No. 7 team in this week's National Fastpitch Coaches Association Division II poll, tough in the first game of a double-header on Sunday (April 12), but the Greyhounds prevailed, 10-3, thanks to some late runs. Indianapolis also won the second game of the day, 9-0. The difference for most of the first contest was a five-run second inning by the Greyhounds, but the Blue Tigers cut into that lead in the top of the third when Ella Percival hit a solo home run.
