Big Game Two Powers Softball to Split with Edgewood
ROCKFORD, Ill. — The Rockford University softball team took on the Edgewood University Eagles in a NACC doubleheader on Sunday. They were beaten 14-5 in game one and bounced back with a dominant 11-3 win in game two. The Regents will return to action on Tuesday, April 14, for two games against Maranatha Baptist starting at 3:00 p.m. CDT. Game One: Edgewood 14, Rockford 5 Tomi Hill notched two singles in her 2-for-3 outing in the leadoff spot. Brooklyn Lee was 1-for-1 with two RBI.
