Best Breaks All-Time PBC Steeplechase Record in Tennessee
CLEVELAND, Tenn. – Augusta University men's track & field competed at the Lee Fast Break Athletics Invitational April 10-11, highlighted by a record-setting performance from Gabriel Best in the 3,000-meter steeplechase. Best broke the all-time Peach Belt Conference record in the steeplechase with a time of 9:03.29, finishing third overall and reaching the NCAA Division II provisional standard. Augusta also posted a podium finish in the 10,000 meters, where Nasrudin Mohamed placed third in 29:49.33, also meeting the NCAA Division II provisional qualifying standard.
