Baseball splits PAC doubleheader with Saint Vincent
WAYNESBURG, Pa. (April 11) 鈥� The Waynesburg University baseball team hosted Saint Vincent for a Presidents’ Athletic Conference (PAC) doubleheader on Saturday. The Yellow Jackets bounced back from a 7-2 loss in game one to earn a 15-5 (7 innings) victory in the late contest. The Bearcats (9-17, 5-7) scored all the runs they needed for victory with a three spot in the top of the first inning. Waynesburg (11-19, 2-10) got one of those runs back in the bottom of the second when junior Hunter Mamie (Eighty Four, Pa. / Ringgold) slugged is his first homerun of the season.…
