Baseball Ends Weekend With 18-5 Loss to Saint Joseph’s
DAYTON – The University of Dayton baseball team fell 18-5 to Saint Joseph's, going 0-3 against the Hawks this weekend. Trailing 5-0, Michael Smith Jr. hit a home run to right field, putting the Flyers on the board in the bottom of the third. St. Joe's responded with a three-run home run in the fourth to take an 8-1 lead, which Ryan MacDougall cut with an RBI double down the right field line to make it an 8-2 game in the fifth.
