Baseball Drops Series Finale at Liberty, 4-2
LYNCHBURG, Va. — Jax State baseball dropped its first Conference USA series of the season, falling 4-2 to the Liberty Flames on Sunday afternoon at Worthington Field. Jax State falls to 29-8 and 13-2 overall, holding a one-game lead over Missouri State in the CUSA standings to remain on top. Liberty improves to 25-10 and ties DBU for third in the standings at 11-4. Steven Cash fell to 4-2 on the year after giving up all four runs during his six innings of work, striking out seven.
