Baseball Downs Elmira in Non-Conference Contest
The Misericordia University baseball team defeated Elmira, 14-3, Sunday at Tambur Field. Owen Daminger had three hits, including a three-run homer. He had four RBI, scored three runs and struck out five batters over three innings. Joe Peters added three hits with four RBI and a run scored and Shane Patten had three hits and scored three runs. Bryant Diaz had two hits, including a solo home run. Alan Warren picked up his first win of the season out of the bullpen and Dante DeLeonibus and Lucas Lerch combined for three shutout innings.
