Acosta nearly breaks school record in 1,500 at Chicagloand Outdoor
The Aurora University Men’s Track and Field team competed in the Chicagoland Outdoor Championships hosted by Elmhurst University in Elmhurst, IL this weekend. The meet began with the throwing events on Thursday, followed by the rest of the field events, as well as running events, on Friday and Saturday. Armando Acosta had a great showing on the track on Friday, placing sixth in the 1,500-Meter in 3:54.48, nearly breaking his own school record of 3:54.28.
